For this UX-oriented playground type experience exhibition content design project, KAIST Wonder Lab and HCI Lab collaborated with National Science Museum in Korea.
We developed a practical prototype of 3 types of UX-oriented playground-type experience contents (sensory play seesaw, interactive forest, and cooperative jungle gym) that promote cooperative creative activities. The concept and prototype were improved by reflecting the evaluations obtained in the actual exhibition environment, and developed to function as an exhibit that can increase the sustainability and stability after installation and maximize the UX of visitors. We developed exhibition programs and visual materials to more effectively convey scientific knowledge to visitors through the developed three types of exhibition contents. And finally, through the installation of three types of hardware design drawings and software for the developed experiential exhibition contents, they could be transferred to the science museum and maintained.
